Scope
This policy describes KeepHandy, Kiwi Digital Lab LLC’s iPhone app for receipts, warranties, and documents. It covers the current local-storage version.
Documents and details you add
You may scan or import receipts, warranties, images, PDFs, and other documents, then enter titles, merchant details, amounts, currencies, purchase dates, categories, notes, and return or warranty dates. The app stores attachments and recognized text locally so you can organize and search them. The current app does not upload this content to Kiwi Digital Lab servers and does not require an online account.
Camera, photos, files, and recognition
You choose when to scan with the camera, select photos, or import files. Apple Vision recognizes document text on your device to support search and editable suggestions. Documents are not sent to an external OCR service. Imported attachments are stored with your saved items. You can control camera access in iPhone Settings and choose the files and photos to import.
Optional reminders
If you enable expiration reminders and allow notifications, the app schedules local alerts for tracked return and warranty dates using iOS. The current reminder text omits merchant names, item names, and amounts, but may reveal that an item has an upcoming return or warranty deadline. You can disable reminders for individual items or manage notifications in iPhone Settings. These reminders are scheduled on-device rather than through a Kiwi notification server.
Protection and authentication
Stored files use iOS complete file protection. Optional app locking asks iOS to verify Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. The app does not receive biometric templates or your device passcode. App lock is an additional access screen; files are protected by iOS rather than a separate app-managed encryption password.
Sharing and backups
When you choose to share an attachment, iOS sends it to the app, recipient, or destination you select. Those services handle their copies under their own terms. There is no built-in Kiwi cloud synchronization or full-vault backup manager in the current version. Your iOS device backups may include app data depending on your settings. Keep separate copies of irreplaceable documents.
Retention and deletion
Saved items and attachments remain on your device until you remove them. Deleting an item removes its index entry and attempts to remove its stored attachments. Removing an attachment does not automatically remove text previously recognized or copied into the item; edit that text separately. Removing the app deletes its local container under iOS behavior. Backups, original photos, imported source files, and shared copies may remain and must be managed separately. We cannot remotely access or delete your local records.
Support and feedback
If you contact Kiwi Digital Lab LLC or send beta feedback, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, message, device details, and screenshots. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Our email and platform providers process these communications to deliver their services. Do not send sensitive documents, passwords, or unredacted personal information. We retain support information as needed to address requests, investigate related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support information we hold.
Advertising, tracking, and Apple services
The current iOS app has no advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or developer-operated content server. We do not sell your saved app content or share it with advertising networks. Apple may process App Store and TestFlight installation, diagnostic, crash, usage, and feedback information under its own terms and your settings. Information you choose to submit through TestFlight may be available to us. This policy page is served by our website hosting provider, which may process IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the website.
Children
This app is not designed specifically for children. It has no online registration through which we knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if a child sends personal information to our support channel so we can address its removal.
