PinNow Privacy Policy

Scope
This policy describes PinNow for iPhone, provided by Kiwi Digital Lab LLC. It covers the current local-storage app and its companion share extension, widgets, and Live Activities.
Information you add
PinNow processes content you enter, capture, select, or share to the app. This may include notes, shopping lists, tasks, addresses, parking details, reference images, PDFs, boarding passes, passenger or flight details, and codes. It also stores settings, custom categories, recent templates, and favorites to provide those features. Content is saved locally; the current app does not upload it to Kiwi Digital Lab servers and does not require an online account.
Photos, camera, files, and recognition
You may choose photos or files, capture an image with your camera, or use the iOS share sheet to send content to PinNow. The app processes selected images and PDF pages with Apple frameworks to recognize text, boarding codes, and relevant details on your device. It does not send documents to an external OCR service. Selected source images or rendered PDF pages may be retained as attachments to saved pins. Manage camera permission in iPhone Settings; you choose which photos or files to import.
Lock Screen and widget visibility
When you choose to display a pin, its content may appear in a Live Activity on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island and in configured widgets. Other people with a view of your device may see it. Consider this before pinning passwords, entry codes, travel details, addresses, or other sensitive content. Stop the activity or remove the widget to stop that presentation. Ending or expiring a display timer does not automatically delete the saved pin.
Storage and extensions
PinNow shares saved records, attachments, settings, and relevant drafts locally with its own extensions through an iOS App Group so widgets and the share extension can work. This is not a public shared folder or a Kiwi cloud service. It uses iOS file protection for stored pin records and images; it is not a separately password-encrypted vault. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings.
Retention and deletion
Saved pins remain until deleted. Recent templates and favorites can remain separately after a saved pin is removed; delete those separately when needed. Deleting a saved pin also removes its associated retained image through the app’s deletion flow. Stop Lock Screen display separately if you only want to hide a pin. Deleting the app removes its local app data under iOS behavior, but backups or copies you exported or shared elsewhere may remain. Manage those with the relevant provider or recipient. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete your locally stored content.
Support and feedback
If you contact Kiwi Digital Lab LLC or send beta feedback, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, message, device details, and screenshots. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, and improve the app. Our email and platform providers process these communications to deliver their services. Do not send sensitive documents, passwords, or unredacted personal information. We retain support information as needed to address requests, investigate related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support information we hold.
Advertising, tracking, and Apple services
The current iOS app has no advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or developer-operated content server. We do not sell your saved app content or share it with advertising networks. Apple may process App Store and TestFlight installation, diagnostic, crash, usage, and feedback information under its own terms and your settings. Information you choose to submit through TestFlight may be available to us. This policy page is served by our website hosting provider, which may process IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the website.
Children
This app is not designed specifically for children. It has no online registration through which we knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if a child sends personal information to our support channel so we can address its removal.
